Job summary

Dailyhunt in Bangalore (Bellandur) is seeking an ISMS - Senior Executive to lead information security initiatives. You will conduct risk assessments, enforce policies, and manage incidents to protect critical systems and data.

The role requires 3-5 years of information security experience and a track record in security projects. Collaborate with IT, legal, and other departments to align security goals with business priorities, maintain audit-ready documentation, and drive continuous security

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security or related roles.
• Proven track record in managing security teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate information security risks to critical systems and data.
• Establish and enforce comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, DPDP), and company policies.
• Monitor security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus solutions.
• Manage and respond to security incidents, breaches, and threats.
• Ensure regular audits of IT systems and infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees and promote a culture of security across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain detailed documentation for audits and certifications.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and other departments to align security initiatives with overall business goals.
• Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Establish and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans; coordinate post-incident analysis to improve future response and resilience.
• Evaluate and implement security tools, technologies, and solutions while staying updated with the latest security trends and threats.
