Online applications are invited for the position of Interior Designer for the project “Design of Ethnographic Museum in SPS Museum, Srinagar”, supported by the CSR initiative of J&K Bank. The engagement is temporary, for a 6‑month period.

• Position: Interior Designer – 1 position
• Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture with at least 1 year of professional experience in interior or space design projects, or Master’s degree with demonstrated expertise in cultural, heritage, or museum design projects.
• Remuneration: ₹48,000 per month for 6 months.

Interested candidates must submit a hard copy of their application form along with a detailed CV/portfolio and all required credentials/certificates to the Office of the Dean, School of Architecture, Planning and Geomatics by 29‑12‑2025. List of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the university website. Interview dates will be communicated via email or the IUST website.

General Instructions

• The appointment shall be purely temporary in nature.
• The appointee shall not claim whatsoever for regularization in the University during project tenure or after the project concludes.
• The appointee shall be governed by the disciplinary regulations of the University.
• The appointee will be reviewed periodically for performance, and if found unsatisfactory, the engagement will be terminated at any time without prior notice.
• The appointee is neither permitted to publish the data/findings nor disclose information pertaining to intellectual property rights.
• The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules and regulations of the University and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time.
• The University reserves the right to defer or not fill up the post advertised herein above, without assigning any reason thereof.
• The salary component is subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.
