The engagement for this Research Associate position is being made purely on a temporary basis within the Statistical Quality Control & Operations Research (SQC & OR) Division.

The tenure will be initially up to 31 March 2027 from the date of joining the Institute. The engagement may be extended later or terminated earlier depending on the availability of funds and candidate performance. Based on performance, the term of research associateship may be extended up to a maximum of two years, as per the discretion of the Institute.

Engagement of the Research Associate will take place in line with Office Order No. D.O./2024/183 dated 20 June 2024 and Office Memorandum No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30 January 2019 of the Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
