Job Description
As a Sr. Lead iOS Engineer you will be leading a team of developers, designing, developing and maintaining code/modules. You will be working in an Agile environment, delivering code, providing technical direction, and leading technical projects apart from being hands‑on too. In this senior level capacity, the candidate is expected to be able to act autonomously for day‑to‑day activities.
Must Have
5-7 years of development experience and must be hands‑on as a Lead Developer.
Must have developed and deployed multiple iOS Apps to App store and must be able to provide references of currently Live applications.
Responsibilities
- Hands‑on coding, system analysis, design and delivery of projects assigned.
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner within project parameters.
- Provide good technical guidance to project team members and other colleagues within the organization so that their abilities and the overall project quality are enhanced.
- Keep management informed of project progress and problems, particularly as to needed changes in schedule, resources, or product.
- Maintain appropriate expertise to ensure effective service level.
- Respond to problems in a timely, effective manner.
- Secure approvals on specifications and project completion as appropriate.
Required Technical Qualifications
- Strong experience in building and publishing commercial iPhone and/or iPad applications.
- Experience integrating native iOS apps with payment gateways such as PayPal, Stripe, etc.
- Ability to match complex UI designs and animations.
- Extensive experience developing in Objective‑C and Swift.
- Programmer Tools: Xcode, Instruments, and Git.
- Frameworks: CocoaTouch, UIKit, and Core Data (Core Graphics and Core Animation a plus).
- Ability to develop APIs is a big plus.
- Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, object oriented programming, MVC programming, and concurrent programming.
- Extensive experience detecting and correcting memory usage issues as well as optimizing code for application performance.
- Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals such as processes, inter-process communication, multi-threading primitives, race conditions and deadlocks.
- Excited about working in a high‑profile, fast‑paced software organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
