IOB Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the Indian Overseas Bank Apprentice posts consists of two stages:

Online Examination: The exam will assess the candidates’ knowledge and aptitude for the role. The date for the online examination is tentatively set for 8th August 2026.
Test of Local Language: Candidates applying for a particular state must be proficient in one of the local languages of that state. This test is conducted after qualifying the written exam, during document verification. Candidates who have studied the specified local language up to 10th/12th standard are exempted from this test.
Document Verification: Conducted at designated centres across India, followed by verification of eligibility documents, caste/category certificates, and medical fitness.
