Overview

Develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in‑depth expertise on a particular product line and bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SME expertise to customers and colleagues on product features, benefits, limitations and compliance.
• Analyze market trends, regulatory changes and sales/customer‑feedback data to support product development and present findings to stakeholders.
• Respond to customer inquiries, attend client meetings and assess complex financial circumstances to recommend suitable product solutions.
• Assist with the resolution of issues and provide guidance on product usage.
• Present product advantages and features to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.
• Help develop and execute marketing materials such as pitch decks and client presentations.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops and external events to share product knowledge.

Leadership & Expectations

Drive strategy, define requirements, plan resources, budgets and policies, and deliver continuous improvements. When leading a team, define roles, plan departmental needs, coach staff and ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. Individuals without leadership responsibilities act as subject‑matter experts, guiding technical direction, managing risk, and advising senior management on impact and alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience with long‑term investment counselling, advisory or investment management focused in India.
• Thorough knowledge of Indian and global markets, investment products and services.
• Deep understanding of Private Banking & Wealth Management regulatory landscape in India.
• Knowledge of investment business opportunities in the region.
• Required regulatory certifications: NISM X‑A, XXI‑A, V‑A.
• Preferred: senior role in PB & WM or Asset Management in India, proven ability to build and grow investment business, strong collaboration and client‑relationship skills, and platform building and change‑management experience.
