The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.The Inventory Management Lead will play a vital role in ensuring effective inventory control and data accuracy across global operations. By collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders, this role will focus on minimizing excess inventory, standardizing processes, and improving data integrity within the organization. The Inventory Management Lead will provide actionable insights, optimize stock utilization, and drive alignment across plants worldwide, contributing to operational efficiency and strategic business objectives.**How you’ll make an impact:*** Oversee inventory levels to reduce excess stock and ensure proper categorization (e.g., redeployment, true excess, disposition, or reservation). Monitor and track stock reassignment to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.* Ensure accurate valuation of existing stock by auditing and validating inventory data.
