• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
• Attend OPD and ward rounds regularly and provide consultation to referred cases.
• Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions, procedures, recovery, and prevention.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist (DM/DrNB) to join our team in Mangalore, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular diseases and performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and catheter-based treatments. The role also involves patient management in outpatient and critical care settings, participation in cardiac camps, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures including angioplasty, coronary interventions, pacemaker implantation, etc.

Manage acute cardiac emergencies, ICU/CCU patients, and pre/post-operative cardiac care.

Interpret diagnostic tests like ECG, Echo, TMT, Holter, angiograms, etc.

Collaborate with a team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.

Participate in clinical audits, research, CME programs, and case discussions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.

Attend OPD and ward rounds regularly and provide consultation to referred cases.

Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions, procedures, recovery, and prevention.

Qualifications

DM / DrNB in Cardiology from a recognized medical institution.

Valid registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

Proficiency in interventional cardiac procedures and patient management.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle emergency calls.

Preferred Skills

Experience in radial and femoral access techniques.

Competency in structural heart interventions is a plus.

Research Publications Or Teaching Experience Preferred.

Fluency in English; knowledge of Kannada is an added advantage.
