Infosys in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Intershop Commerce Developer with ICO/IOM, Java, microservices, and Angular PWA expertise to design, develop, and support scalable B2B/B2C eCommerce solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital commerce experiences, customize Intershop pipelines, and integrate with ERP, CRM, and other systems while ensuring performance and security.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Intershop Commerce Developer with strong expertise in Intershop Commerce Platform (ICO/IOM), Java, Microservices, and Angular Progressive Web Applications (PWA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable B2B/B2C eCommerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital commerce experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance eCommerce solutions using Intershop Commerce Platform (ICO/IOM).
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Build responsive and scalable storefronts using Angular-based PWA frameworks.
• Customize Intershop pipelines, business objects, cartridges, and commerce workflows.
• Implement integrations with third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, payment gateways, and search platforms.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Participate in technical design discussions, solution architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Ensure application scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support for critical business applications.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Intershop Commerce
• Hands-on experience with Intershop Commerce Platform (ICO/IOM).
• Strong understanding of B2B and B2C eCommerce business processes.
• Experience in Intershop storefront customization and cartridge development.
• Knowledge of catalog management, promotions, pricing, orders, and customer management.
• Java Microservices
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience in developing Microservices-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, API Gateway, and service integrations.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and enterprise application architecture.
• Angular PWA
• Experience in developing Progressive Web Applications (PWA) using Angular.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with state management and front-end performance optimization.
• Knowledge of web accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.

Additional Technical Skills

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch, Solr, or enterprise search platforms.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PIM solutions such as Akeneo, Salsify, or Informatica PIM.
• Knowledge of headless commerce architecture.
• Exposure to React, Node.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience integrating payment gateways, inventory systems, and OMS platforms.
• Understanding of eCommerce analytics and conversion optimization.
