  • Ability to assist in reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and handle cross‑functional tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn US taxation, compliance, and corporate finance processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining financial records, journal entries, and reconciliations in accordance with US accounting standards.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
  • Assist in accounts payable/receivable processing, invoice management, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Research US GAAP and relevant tax regulations to support compliance requirements.
  • Help in reviewing budgets, expense reports, and variance analysis to provide financial insights.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and organization of financial data for audits and internal use.
  • Work closely with senior accountants to gain exposure in US taxation, payroll, and statutory compliance.

Job description

The Intern - Foreign Accounting would be a key contributor to TAGs finance team, supporting accurate reporting and compliance with the following responsibilities:


  • Assist in maintaining financial records, journal entries, and reconciliations in accordance with US accounting standards
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
  • Assist in accounts payable/receivable processing, invoice management, and vendor reconciliations
  • Research US GAAP and relevant tax regulations to support compliance requirements
  • Help in reviewing budgets, expense reports, and variance analysis to provide financial insights
