Overview

TRC Companies is looking for a passionate and curious Technology Intern to join our Advanced Energy (AE) Technology Group within POWER Sector in India. The selected intern will get hands‑on exposure to digital transformation initiatives in the Energy sector, with opportunities to learn and contribute in areas such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), AI-driven insights, and data analytics. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced technology leaders and domain experts on real‑world projects, enabling the intern to build both technical and domain knowledge in a high‑impact environment.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing initiatives related to CRM systems (Dynamics 365 / Power Platform) and AI-based solutions for Energy sector projects.
• Assist in data collection, cleansing, and analysis to derive actionable insights for business and operational teams.
• Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and data scientists on solution design and documentation.
• Explore AI/ML use cases relevant to asset management, field operations, and customer engagement.
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports summarizing findings and outcomes.
• Participate in team discussions, review meetings, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a(final year) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn emerging technologies.
• Basic understanding of any of the following:
  • Microsoft Power Platform / Dynamics 365 / CRM concepts
  • AI/ML fundamentals (e.g., Python, data preprocessing, model building)
  • Applying Gen AI & Prompt Engineering
  • Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools)
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently under guidance and deliver within timelines.

Duration

• 3-6 Months (with potential for extension or pre-placement consideration based on performance)

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• Exposure to cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with Energy and Utilities domain concepts.
• Basic experience with Python, SQL, or API integrations.
