Job summary

Smytten is seeking a creative designer to craft luxury magazine covers and premium brand visuals for online and offline spaces. You will contribute to packaging, video edits, and illustrations, while delivering high-quality, on-brand outputs.

Ideal candidates bring a strong portfolio, excellent typography and layout skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Excellent graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.
• Strong interaction, communication, and presentation skills.
• Good practical experience with industry-leading software and technologies, such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.

Responsibilities

• Content covers design of luxury magazine covers and brand visuals for premium topics.
• Offline design tasks for events, fairs, and brand presence.
• Copy responsibilities: strong English copy with clear stance on quality.
• Other responsibilities: packaging design, video editing, illustrating.

Job description

• Content covers - On Smytten, every article comes with its own stunning magazine cover. So you'll be spending a lot of your time designing luxury covers for a myriad of topics in the premium and luxury space.
• , and anything else that you believe will further the brand in the digital space.
• Offline design - Being a startup, there will also be an ad-hoc need for offline design properties for events, fairs, etc. We'd love someone who can visualize the brand presence offline with a great design application.
• Copy - We'd prefer it if you are adept at English, love reading, and have a standpoint on what constitutes good copy.
• Other responsibilities: Packaging design, video editing, illustrating.
