Job summary

INFINX in Mumbai invites passionate finance students for an internship in the CFO’s Office. You will work closely with senior leaders on analytical, reporting, and strategic initiatives, gaining exposure to corporate finance, MIS, and strategic planning.

This hands-on role develops skills in data analysis, Excel-based modeling, and executive presentation support, with direct access to board-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed CA (Inter/IPCC), CMA, BBA, B.Com or equivalent with interest in finance and analytics.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) and working knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support the CFO office with data collation, presentation support, and other content summaries.
• Assist in drafting leadership presentations (PowerPoint) and backup data (Excel).
• Coordinate followups on action items from leadership discussions.
• Assist in research, documentation, and analysis for internal initiatives, benchmarking, and cost optimization.
• Help analyze costs, variances, budgets, and trends; maintain trackers for operational metrics.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This internship provides handson exposure to the CFOs Office and is ideal for students aspiring to build careers in Finance, Strategy, MIS, or Corporate Planning. The intern will work closely with senior finance leaders on analytical, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CFO Desk & Leadership Support

• Support the CFO’s office with data collation, presentation support, and other content summaries


• Assist in drafting leadership presentations (PowerPoint) and backup data (Excel)


• Coordinate followups on action items from leadership discussions

2. Financial Analysis & MIS

• Assist in research, documentation, and analysis related to internal initiatives or acquisitions (basic level)


• Support strategic and adhoc projects such as benchmarking, automation initiatives, cost optimization, or process reviews


• Support analysis of costs, variances, budgets, and trends


• Help maintain trackers for operational metrics as required
