Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Enterprise Semantic Layer & Data Platforms Engineering Intern to help build enterprise data capabilities that enable trusted, connected, and AI-ready data across the organization.

You will support the development of semantic layer platforms, contribute to metadata management and knowledge graphs, and assist in integrating data catalog and MDM solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, engineers, and business teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Support development of Enterprise Semantic Layer and Ontology Management platforms including Centree.
• Contribute to semantic modelling, metadata management, and knowledge management to improve data discoverability.
• Assist in integrating Metadata, Data Catalog, Data Quality, and MDM platforms.
• Participate in API-based integrations, automation, and platform engineering initiatives.
• Support platform testing, validation, documentation, and operational excellence activities.
• Contribute to AI/GenAI-driven use cases for metadata management and governance.

• Support the development of Enterprise Semantic Layer and Ontology Management platforms, including solutions such as Centree .
• Contribute to semantic modelling, metadata management, and knowledge management capabilities that improve data discoverability and interoperability.
• Assist in integrating Metadata, Data Catalog, Data Quality, and Master Data Management (MDM) platforms.
• Participate in API-based integrations, automation, and platform engineering initiatives.
• Support platform testing, validation, documentation, and operational excellence activities.
• Contribute to AI/GenAI-powered use cases for metadata management, semantic modelling, and data governance.
• Assist in innovation, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business teams to deliver scalable and governed data solutions.
