Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking Architecture Interns for our Gurgaon team to gain hands-on experience in architectural design, Revit/BIM modelling, documentation and multidisciplinary coordination on live projects under guidance from experienced professionals.

You will develop Revit models and drawings, support construction documentation, and participate in design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions, while learning BIM workflows and international project practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed the B.Arch degree.
• Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD required.
• Strong understanding of architectural design fundamentals and detailing.

Job Description Overview

We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented Architecture Interns to join our Architecture team in Gurgaon. The internship provides hands-on experience in architectural design, Revit/BIM modelling, documentation, detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination on live projects, with guidance from experienced Architects and BIM professionals and exposure to international project workflows.

Your role

Develop architectural Revit models and drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, schedules, working drawings, and details, under senior guidance. Support design and construction documentation and architectural detailing for elements such as doors, toilets, staircases, wall interfaces, and other building components. Coordinate architectural information with Structural, MEP, BIM, Interior Design, and other disciplines. Incorporate design and QA/QC comments and follow established project standards, BIM workflows, QA/QC procedures, and documentation guidelines. Support Rhino-based modelling and complex geometry development where required. Take responsibility for assigned tasks, meeting agreed timelines with project-team guidance. Participate in coordination meetings, design reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

About you

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and available for a 4-6 month internship. Good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Good understanding of architectural design fundamentals, building construction, working drawings, and detailing. Good verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to learn and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.

Portfolio Expectations

Candidates should showcase one or two academic design projects, preferably demonstrating: Architectural design development and understanding of building construction. Working drawings and construction details, including application of relevant building codes and standards. Revit/BIM-based modelling or documentation, where available.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper and an interest in complex geometry or technically challenging architectural projects. Familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, or Enscape. Basic understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination. Exposure to international or Middle East architectural projects is an advantage but not mandatory.

Good communication and coordination skills, including proactively seeking clarification and resolving issues. Enthusiasm for developing technical, design, BIM, and software skills.
