Job summary

Embitel Technologies in Bengaluru, part of the VW Group ecosystem via CARIAD, invites fresh engineers to join as Graduate Engineer Trainees. You will work with engineering teams on projects, gaining hands-on experience in C++, Java, Python, and AI/ML as required.

The role focuses on OS-level concepts, microprocessor/microcontroller programming, driver development, and hardware design support. A BE/BTech in ECE/CSE/EEE with at least 65% is required; training and structured onboarding are offered,

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) with a minimum of 65% aggregate.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python and Java; exposure to AI/ML fundamentals is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced automotive tech environment.

Responsibilities

About our Group CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will:

Work closely with our engineering and development teams to support ongoing projects. Learn and apply skills in C++,Java, Python, and AI/ML as per project requirements. Solve complex problems using analytical and logical reasoning. Work on microprocessor/controller programming and development. Contribute to OS-level implementations and driver development. Assist in designing and testing hardware components and systems. Demonstrate the ability to adapt and upskill in alignment with project needs and company goals.

Eligibility Criteria

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). A strong academic foundation in your respective stream, with a minimum of 65% aggregate throughout your academic history
