Position Summary

The Quality Engineering Coordinator leads and coordinates all quality engineering and software testing activities for assigned projects, ensuring rigorous adherence to QA/QE standards, managing testing teams, and driving automation and innovative solutions to improve quality, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

How You’ll Succeed (Responsibilities)

Testing Coordination & Execution

• Develop, publish, and execute test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, automation scripts, virtualization, status reports, defect and exit reports.
• Obtain required test data and test environments.
• Estimate and manage financials related to testing activities.
• Track and report QA/QE metrics and KPIs such as velocity and defect slippage.

Defect & Compliance Management

• Manage defects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Implement remediation for non‑compliance items and deviations.
• Support adoption of new QA/QE standards.
• Identify and propose process, policy, or tool improvements.

Technical Leadership

• Provide feedback on technical designs and assess impacts to testing.
• Identify and implement automation, AI, or other emerging solutions to expedite testing and improve quality.
• Lead adoption of automation frameworks and tools.

People Management

• Coordinate a team of test analysts within assigned projects or initiatives.

Experience

3–6 years of overall experience, including 1–3 years in development.

Who You Are (Skills / Qualifications)

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience in retail banking, mobile testing, web‑based testing, UX testing, API testing, and accessibility.
• Hands‑on knowledge of automation frameworks, tools, and libraries such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.
• Version control experience with GIT.
• Capability to write and execute automation test cases, build object repositories, and develop custom functions.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, web services, basic SQL, and database concepts.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other Gen AI‑based tools.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and other Agile, development, and QA tools.
• Experience with API testing and virtualization tools such as ParaSoft, Rest API, or equivalent.
