Job Description

The candidate should be able to project finance operations, project invoicing, preparing supporting annexures, statement of accounts, Client & revenue reconciliations. Candidate should have complete understanding of end-to-end Project Finance operations & accounts receivable process. Key relationships would be with the GCC Project Finance team as well as the Finance Business Partners. The Job responsibilities include but are not limited to ones given below.

Responsibilities

• Master Data Management set up in Oracle for multiple entities/ region environment.


• All Revenue and cost budget updates after validation of underlying document / approvals


• Exposure to Oracle preferably for Project Finance


• Project and Tasks Setup/Amendments/Closure and Project folder review


• Audit support and seeking information & reaching logical conclusion


• Timesheet, invoice & credit note review and audit support.


• Data Cleansing on historical data.


• Review project contracts (client agreements)


• Knowledge of revenue recognition under Percentage of completion method


• Liaise with Finance Business Partners / project managers and Project Leaders for any project related issues.


• Provide support on external / Internal Audit


• Process improvement and initiatives


• NI 52-109 audit or Financial Control audit.

Mandatory Skills

• Exposure to Oracle in a multiple entities/ region environment


• Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role.


• High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.


• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision.


• Must have good English writing and communication skills


• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and able to handle pressure


• Excellent data orientation


• Exposure of working on task Orders/Time Sheet/ Project & SOA Reconciliations


• Experienced user of Microsoft Office - particularly intermediate to advanced level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook


• Preference for experience in likewise industry (infrastructure/design consultancy)


• Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills

Desired Skills

• Construction and consultancy experience is preferred


• Previous exposure to Oracle or similar project reporting systems

Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate / MBA with 5-8 years of experience.


• Two to three years of experience in project finance, master data management, and financial reporting will be preferred.
