Job summary

Theos in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead residential projects from concept to execution. You will guide junior designers, coordinate with sales, 3D visualization, and operations teams, and ensure designs meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.

You should hold a B.Arch or M.Des with at least four years of residential interior design experience, be fluent in English (Telugu/Hindi a bonus), and demonstrate strong technical drawing and CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture/interior design.
• Minimum four years of residential interior design experience.
• Understanding of interior design principles and materials.
• Proficient in creating precise technical drawings and CAD.
• Strong communication in English; Telugu/Hindi adds advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

If you have a keen eye fordesign and always have your finger on the pulse of industry trends, then we want to hear from you. Our firm is interested in hiring an experienced InteriorDesigner. Your role is to

• Facilitatethe onboarding process for new clients.
• Comprehensivelyexplain the design process to clients, ensuring transparency and setting realistic expectations.
• Attendthe design kickoff meeting at the site alongside the Sales Manager foreffective knowledge transfer.
• Createand communicate a detailed design phase timeline to clients, outlining keymilestones to track project progress.
• Engagein thoughtful and detailed discussions with clients, understanding both theirfunctional and aesthetic requirements for home interiors.
• Developtailored design concepts that align with clients specific needs, accompaniedby detailed quotations that establish clear budget boundaries for eachproposal.
• Ensurea cohesive integration of creative vision with technical feasibility, fosteringeffective communication and synergy between design aesthetics and operationalfunctionality.
• Collaborateseamlessly with the Sales, 3D visualization, KWS and Operations teams totranslate conceptual designs into practical and executable plans.
• Leadand collaborate with Junior Designers, supervising the development of detaileddesign drawings. Provide specifications for brand, model, and make of rawmaterials and hardware proposed in the design.
• Workclosely with the Project Management team to ensure technical compliance ofproposed designs with on-site conditions.
• Ensureaccurate project documentation in the CRM tool through daily updates.
• Takechargeof hiring and training a team of Junior Designers, fostering acollaborative and highly skilled design team at Theos
• Adhereto and uphold the established design and technical standards of Theos
• Participatein training sessions and workshops to stay informed about any updates orchanges to design and technical standards.
• Takeresponsibility for the accuracy and precision of all design documentation anddrawings.
• Embracea proactive approach in identifying and resolving potential design standardchallenges.
• Demonstratea commitment to excellence in design execution and uphold the reputation ofTheos in the industry.

Requirements

Must haves to apply:

• Holda Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Masters degree in InteriorDesign (M.Des).
• Demonstratea minimum of four years of professional experience in Residential InteriorDesign.
• Possessa profound understanding of interior design principles, residential designstandards, and ergonomic design.
• Showcasein-depth knowledge of various materials used in design execution, along withthe ability to weigh their pros and cons for a seamless living experience.
• Exhibita discerning eye for differentiating between good and bad design, consideringboth functional and aesthetic aspects.
• Proficientin creating precise technical drawings.
• Proficientin CAD software applications.
• Aconfident and compelling tone of communication. Eloquent English \ Telugu \Hindi gets you an extra point.
