Job summary

Livspace Yendada is seeking an Interior Designer with at least 2 years’ experience for our Livspace Experience Centre in Yendada, Visakhapatnam. The role involves on-site client consultations, modular kitchen and wardrobe design, and detailed AutoCAD drawings.

You will create 3D visuals in SketchUp to help clients approve designs and prepare BOQs, coordinating with the execution team to ensure the finished space matches the plan.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of interior design experience, residential or modular interiors.
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchens and wardrobes, layouts and work triangle planning.
• Hands-on AutoCAD experience for drawings and plans.
• 3D modelling in SketchUp; rendering tools like V-Ray/Enscape a plus.
• Good communication and client presentation skills.
• Portfolio of modular kitchen and wardrobe projects.

Responsibilities

Job Post – Interior Designer

Experience: 2+ years

Location: Livspace Experience Centre, Yendada, Visakhapatnam (Work from office)

Key Responsibilities

1. Client consultations: Meet clients at the experience centre and on site. Understand their needs, lifestyle and budget, and turn them into practical design solutions.
2. Modular kitchen and wardrobe design: Design modular kitchens and wardrobes end to end. This covers layouts, carcass and shutter options, hardware, accessories, materials and finishes that are functional, durable and within budget.
3. Drawings and plans: Prepare accurate 2D layouts, elevations and working drawings in AutoCAD for execution.
4. 3D visualisation: Create 3D models in SketchUp to help clients clearly picture the final space before they approve it.
5. Quotations and design sign-off: Prepare design proposals and BOQs, take clients through revisions, and get final design approval.
6. Site coordination: Take site measurements, coordinate with the execution team, and make sure the finished work matches the approved design.
7. Client relationship: Keep clients updated at every stage, handle feedback, and deliver a smooth design experience from first meeting to handover.

Required Qualifications & Experience

1. Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of interior design experience, ideally in residential or modular interiors
3. Strong knowledge of modular kitchens and wardrobes, including:
4. Kitchen layouts (L-shape, U-shape, parallel, island) and work triangle planning
5. Wardrobe types (sliding, hinged, walk-in) and internal configurations
6. Hardware and accessories such as hinges, channels, tandem boxes, baskets and lifts
7. Materials and finishes such as BWP/MR ply, HDHMR, laminates, acrylic, PU and veneer
8. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD for drawings and plans
9. 3D modelling skills in SketchUp (rendering tools like V-Ray or Enscape are a plus)
10. Good communication skills and confidence in presenting designs to clients
11. A portfolio of completed modular kitchen and wardrobe projects
