A leading engineering firm in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Interior Design Architect to develop concept designs, layouts, and 3D visualizations for airport terminal interiors. Responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong background in airport projects and is proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. This role promotes diversity and is focused on innovative and impactful designs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10-15 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in airport projects.
• Experience in preparing detailed drawings including plans and elevations.
• Ability to ensure compliance with airport authority standards.
• Ensure designs comply with airport authority standards, ICAO/IATA guidelines, fire safety norms, and accessibility standards.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and signage systems for high-traffic environments.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical inputs during construction execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
• Incorporate sustainability principles and energy-efficient design practices.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and ensure compliance with project schedules.
