Job summary

Talview is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to build and maintain robust backend services in Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS Lambda, GraphQL, Hasura, and Temporal. Based in Bengaluru, you will own complex technical problems, adhering to team standards and delivering scalable microservices.

You will design, deploy, and operate backend services, monitor usage, and collaborate with Frontend, QA, and Product teams to improve stability and performance.

Qualifications

• : Must have 5-6 years of backend development experience with Node.js.
• : Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• : Experience writing unit, integration, and functional tests.
• : Working knowledge of distributed systems, application tuning and profiling, and CI pipelines.
• : Proficiency in SQL, with PostgreSQL preferred.
• : Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and maintain the Talview platform - robust backend services powered by PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS Lambda, GraphQL, Hasura, Node.js, and Temporal. As a Backend Engineer, you will own complex technical problems, adhere to the established standards the rest of the team builds.
