Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics and Data Engineering roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; strong Azure data services expertise.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker), data modeling, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle data projects from data extraction to stakeholder communication.
• Design, develop, and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and orchestration tools.
• Build and maintain Azure-based data infrastructure including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and relational DBs.
• Ensure data modeling, storage strategies, and performance tuning for scalability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define data requirements and KPIs.
• Develop Source-to-Target mapping documents and support data modeling and table designs.
• Implement data governance, quality frameworks, metadata management, and security standards.
• Develop dashboards and predictive models using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Lead and mentor junior data analysts and engineers to build a high-performing team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Analyst with a strong background in Data Engineering, Advanced Analytics, and Azure cloud technologies to lead our data-driven initiatives. This hybrid role demands technical excellence in data infrastructure, pipeline development, data modeling, and analytics, paired with the ability to translate insights into business impact. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience building scalable solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), managing data warehouses and data lakes, enabling enterprise-wide analytics, and supporting product and business teams with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle data projects from data extraction, transformation, analysis, visualization, to stakeholder communication.
• Design, develop, and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other orchestration tools.
• Build and maintain Azure-based data infrastructure including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Relational Databases.
• Ensure efficient data modeling, storage strategies, and performance tuning for scalability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define data requirements, KPIs, and deliver analytics solutions that drive product and operational decisions.
• Create and manage Source‑to‑Target (S2T) mapping documents and support data modeling and table designs.
• Implement and oversee data governance, data quality frameworks, metadata management, and security standards.
• Develop and optimize dashboards, reports, and predictive models using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Design and lead A/B testing frameworks, data profiling, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover actionable business insights.
• Guide and mentor junior data analysts and engineers to build a high‑performing, data‑first team.
• Stay current with emerging cloud data platforms, analytics tools, and industry best practices.

Must Have

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Data Analytics and Data Engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, especially :
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure SQL Database
• Data Lake Storage
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or dbt.
• Extensive experience in :
• Data modeling
• Database design
• Managing structured and unstructured data
• Strong background in :
• Product analytics
• KPI analysis
• A/B testing methodologies
• Demonstrated experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and business communication skills.
