Job summary

Prismforce is seeking a Data Scientist with strong NLP and ML foundations to build custom AI solutions for talent intelligence. You will work from data exploration to deployment, focusing on robust, scalable systems using state-of-the-art techniques.

You will develop models for NER, classification, and semantic tasks, leveraging transformers and LLMs to extract structured data from messy text and collaborate with product and engineering to deploy production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in applied NLP and ML.
• Strong Python coding with Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with modern NLP toolkits such as Spacy, HuggingFace Transformers, SBERT.
• Solid understanding of embedding models, attention mechanisms, and evaluation metrics.
• Ability to break down abstract problems and build data-driven solutions.
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or metadata generation using LLMs.
• Exposure to knowledge graphs, taxonomy design, or vector databases.
• Contributions to open-source NLP tools or research (ref:hirist.tech).
