Job summary

Sonata Software Bengaluru is seeking an experienced integration specialist to design, develop, administer and support integrations on the webMethods platform.

You will configure Universal Messaging and API Gateway, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliable, secure data flow across systems while leveraging AWS EC2 and VPNs. Willingness to learn additional integration technologies and deliver high-quality solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of webMethods integration platform.
• Experience with Universal Messaging and API Gateway.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, VPNs).
• Experience with MFT or ETL tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, administer and support integrations on the webMethods platform.
• Administer, Configure Universal Messaging and API Gateway components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable integration solutions.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and seamless data flow between systems.
• Make informed operational decisions when needed (e.g., server restarts, interim workarounds, permanent fixes) to maintain service continuity.
• Lead and drive utilities and frameworks that automate and simplify existing functionality and environment checks/activities.
• Perform ongoing support activities, including monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvements.

This project focuses on Integration Platform webMethods, universal messaging & API Gateway Development,Support & Maintenance and Administration.

Technology greenlighting is a constant focus of the customer and hence technology upgrades & refinements are a common phenomenon.

The candidate should be technically strong and should be willing to work on multiple integration technologies.

Role

• Strong understanding of webmethods integration platform.
• Proficiency with webMethods, including Universal Messaging and API Gateway.
• Working knowledge of AWS, particularly EC2 instances, Virtual private networks and gateways.
• Experience with any Managed File Transfer (MFT) technology & ETL tool is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work with additional integration technologies.
• Ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.
