Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a MuleSoft & Agentic AI Integration Engineer in Bengaluru to design and build MuleSoft APIs, flows, and connectors on the Anypoint Platform, enabling end-to-end order processing with data weaving and policy enforcement.

The role also focuses on Agentic AI development: building multi-agent workflows that read PO PDFs, extract data, classify orders, and route them to SAP while ensuring reliability, observability, and escalation pathways when confidence is low.

Qualifications

• Experience in integration design and API-led connectivity.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and DataWeave transformations.
• Experience with AI agents and multi-agent orchestration concepts.

• Design and build MuleSoft APIs, flows, and connectors on the Anypoint Platform.
• Apply API-led connectivity principles with clean DataWeave transformations.
• Build and tune AI agents to read inbound PO PDFs, extract data, and classify orders.
• Design multi-agent orchestration and tool-use patterns for autonomous task execution.
• Encode master-data lookups and deterministic business rules for routing with escalation when needed.
• Implement order simulation and SAP integration with validations.
• Add logging, monitoring, and error handling to surface issues promptly.
• Collaborate with business users and architects to refine rules and run UAT.

We are currently seeking a MuleSoft & Agentic AI Integration Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Responsibilities

• Integration Design & Build Design and build MuleSoft APIs, flows, and connectors on the Anypoint Platform that carry orders from intake through validation to submission, delivering reusable, well-documented assets.
• Apply API-led connectivity principles (System, Process, and Experience layers) with clean, maintainable DataWeave transformations.
• Agentic AI Development Build and tune AI agents that read inbound PO PDFs, extract order data, and classify orders (e.g., by division / business unit) before routing to the correct downstream destination.
• Design multi-agent orchestration and tool-use patterns for autonomous, multi-step task execution with confidence-based escalation to humans.
• Business-Rule & Ship-To Account Determination Encode master-data lookups and disambiguation logic as deterministic business rules so accounts and routing resolve automatically, with a clear escalation path when confidence is low.
• Order Entry API & SAP Integration Implement order simulation and submission through the Order Entry API, handling pricing, drop-ship, vendor, and special-rule validation prior to export into SAP.
• Reliability & Observability Add logging, monitoring, error handling, and reprocessing so failed or ambiguous transactions surface immediately instead of stalling.
• Stakeholder Collaboration Work with business users, integration architects, and Customer Service to refine rules, run UAT, and hand over supportable, documented automation.
