Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Ellucian Banner/Colleague in a higher education environment or consulting setting.
• Strong expertise in Banner/Colleague architecture, integrations, extensions, workflow, reporting, custom development, and system troubleshooting.
• Experience leading technical delivery and mentoring teams.
• Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for client engagements, including development, implementations, upgrades, integrations, extensions, workflow, reporting and system enhancements.
• Ensure technical work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and aligned with project scope.
• Review project health and proactively identify risks, blockers, or delivery concerns.
• Offer technical oversight on complex client initiatives and step in when projects require senior technical expertise.
• Support troubleshooting for complex technical issues, integrations, reporting challenges, and system defects.
• Partner with project managers to ensure timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clear.

Overview

The Integration and Data Intelligence Delivery Lead serves as a hands-on technical leader—specializing in Ellucian Banner and Colleague higher education ERP environments—responsible for ensuring high-quality technical delivery, developing technical talent, and maintaining delivery consistency across the local technical team.

This role operates as a player-coach, balancing direct client delivery responsibilities with leadership responsibilities that support team performance, technical excellence, and operational consistency. The Team Lead partners closely with the Practice Director, Project Managers, and Functional Leaders to ensure technical resources are effectively deployed, delivery risks are identified early, and technical solutions align with client needs.

This role is responsible for elevating technical execution while fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and scalable delivery practices across the team.

Responsibilities

Technical Delivery leadership & Subject Matter Expertise

Resource planning & staffing support

• Provide feedback for staffing decisions based on technical skill sets, workload capacity, and project requirements.
• Identifybandwidth constraints and potential staffing gaps.
• Recommend project assignments based on team strengths and development opportunities.
• Partner with Practice Leadership on resource planning.

Technical escalation & problem resolution

• Serve as the first point of escalation for significant technical delivery issues.
• Support resolution of architecture concerns, integration failures, and technical blockers.
• Partner with functional teams when issues require cross-functional coordination.
• Escalate broader business, contractual, or client relationship concerns to Practice Leadership.
• Partner closely with Functional Team Leads, Project Managers, and Practice Leadership.
• Support stronger collaboration between functional and technical teams.
• Ensure technical perspectives are included during project planning, scoping, and execution.
• Help improve communication across teams to reduce operational friction.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working with EllucianBanner /Colleague in a higher education environment or consulting setting.
• Strong technicalexpertiseinBanner /Colleague architecture, integrations,Extensions, workflow,reporting, custom development, and system troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.

The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location. Final compensation will be determined through mutual agreement between the successful candidate and SIG.
