Thomson Reuters seeks a Senior Integrations Analyst with strong SAP FI expertise and SD/MM experience. You will analyze requirements, design and implement SAP integration solutions, and provide domain guidance across ONESOURCE Indirect Tax modules.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing integrations and business processes and develop approaches for improving or leveraging these systems.
• Provide SAP domain expertise and coordinate with functional areas within ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Application Suite for end-to-end integration.
• Perform detailed analysis of SAP integration feasibility and support (MM, SD, FI).
• Configure SAP MM, SD, FI and support product rollouts as domain expert.
• Provide data integration expertise to customers, partners and internal teams to ensure customer success.
• Assist in 2nd level support and training for Customer Support, Professional Services and partners.
• Analyze high-complexity customer problems, assess impact, and implement workarounds.
• Identify resolution options and escalate as needed.
• Provide user training on system functionality and correct operation.
• Provide input for technical plans and solutions; offer guidance to junior analysts.
• Demonstrate deep SAP expertise and act as SME; conduct root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Contribute to medium/large SAP projects across multiple environments; prepare status updates.
• Regularly share knowledge within the team.
• Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days in office weekly); Shift: 7:30pm–4:30am IST; supports US Central time.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integrations Analyst with strong SAP functional expertise. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and partners to analyze business requirements, design and implement integration solutions, provide SAP domain expertise, and ensure successful product implementations and customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP FI along with experience in SD and/or MM modules, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other Business Systems Analysts, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, Tax Research, Customers and Prospects.

• Review and analyze existing integrations and business processes and develop approaches for improving or further leveraging these systems.

• Provide deep SAP domain know‑how and act as an SAP expert at Thomson Reuters for transaction tax solutions and coordinate with other functional areas within the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Application Suite to ensure a full end‑to‑end Integration solution.

• Perform detailed analysis of business integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, and FI) feasibility and integration support.

• Perform SAP application configuration settings and options (MM, SD, and FI).
  Support product rollouts and implementations as domain expert and/or primary business interface to other parties.

• Follow product into the field to ensure customer success, providing business and data integration expertise to customers, partners and internal professional services personnel as needed.

• Assist in providing 2nd level support and training to Customer Support, Professional Services, and integration partners.

• Analyzes customer problems of high complexity,Assesses scope of impact Mitigates customer impact of issues and defines, reviews, and executes work arounds.

• Identifies options for problem resolution and initiates action engages others as appropriate and escalates as required.

• Provides advice or training to users about the application systems' functionality, correct peration or constraints, and corrects user faults.

• Provides input for technical plans and solutions.

• Provides technical guidance to less experience analysts.

• Has in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline or area and provides subject matter expertise.

• Conducts root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/or application problems of high complexity.

• Works on medium to large, moderately complex projects/issues that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and disciplines.

• Prepares status updates for customer problems or projects.

• Regularly communicates and shares knowledge with rest of the team.

• Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days work from office is mandatory every week)

• Shift Timing: 7:30pm IST to 4:30am IST

• This job requires to support in US Central time.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Business Administration or Computer Science or equivalent work experience; Formal education in accounting/finance is desired.

• Familiarity with standard SAP accounting and G/L functionality in ECC, S/4HANA or S/4HANA Cloud a requirement.

• Strong FI background a must, with experience in at least one of SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) or SAP MM (Procure-to-Pay).

• At least 5-7 years of experience combining analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of large scale SAP implementations.

• 2 full implementation life cycles either as BSA or consultant, preferably including International/VAT deployments.

• Project management experience strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in SAP condition technique, pricing, and IMG configuration required.

• Strong analytical and design skills.

• Extensive, hands‑on application configuration and design experience.

• Previous work with SAP tax interface highly desired.

• Previous work experience within a software company a plus.

• SAP CRM and/or other ERP system experience is a plus.

• Background in accounting fundamentals is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret ABAP code and work with database tools (such as DbVisualizer) a strong plus.

• Understanding/experience with Indirect Tax/VAT a plus.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in interacting with management and communicating functional vision to both internal and external constituencies.
