The ideal candidate has 15–20+ years in Insurance technology, strong domain knowledge, and proven presales, consulting, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 15–20+ years of experience in Insurance technology or related leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty and Life Insurance domains.
  • Experience with underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing, onboarding, renewals.
  • Experience building service offerings, frameworks, and GTM materials.

Role Overview

Aspire Systems is looking for an experienced Practice Lead – Insurance to drive the strategic growth, solution development, market positioning, and customer success of its Insurance Practice.

This is a practice leadership role responsible for shaping Aspire’s insurance offerings, building differentiated solutions, strengthening presales capability, developing reusable IP / accelerators / frameworks, enabling customer‑centric transformation, and positioning Aspire as a trusted insurance technology partner.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 15–20+ years of experience in Insurance technology, domain consulting, solution consulting, practice leadership, presales, delivery leadership, or technology transformation roles.
  • Strong domain understanding of Property & Casualty and Life Insurance is mandatory.
  • Good understanding of insurance business processes such as underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing, customer onboarding, renewals, risk assessment, distribution, and reporting.
  • Technical background in any modern technology area such as digital engineering, cloud, data, AI, automation, enterprise applications, integrations, core insurance platforms, or quality engineering.
  • Proven experience in building service offerings, solution frameworks, accelerators, reusable IP, and go‑to‑market material.
  • Experience supporting large insurance transformation pursuits, RFPs, RFIs, customer workshops, and executive presentations.
  • Strong presales, solutioning, consulting, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including sales, delivery, consulting, marketing, partnerships, and technology practices.
  • Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Insurtech platforms, insurance analytics, AI‑led underwriting/claims automation, or insurance testing solutions will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Insurance, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Insurance Practice aligned with Aspire’s business priorities, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Drive growth across key insurance segments including Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Employee Benefits, insurers, intermediaries, MGAs, and Insurtech’s.
  • Identify emerging market trends across digital insurance, AI‑led underwriting, claims automation, customer experience, core modernization, connected insurance, and data‑driven insurance operations.
  • Strengthen Aspire’s positioning as a customer‑centric insurance technology and transformation partner.
  • Collaborate with leadership, sales, delivery, and consulting teams to identify new business opportunities and create scalable growth plans.
  • Build and enhance Aspire’s Insurance service portfolio across:
  • Underwriting transformation
  • Claims management
  • Policy administration modernization
  • Billing and accounts management
  • Insurance data and analytics
  • AI‑led risk analysis
  • Customer self‑service and omni‑channel portals
  • Connected insurance solutions

  • Define value propositions, solution themes, service packages, reusable assets, commercial models, and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Create differentiated offerings for P&C and Life Insurance based on industry challenges, customer priorities, and technology trends.
  • Partner with internal technology practices such as Cloud, Data, AI, Digital Engineering, Enterprise Applications, and Quality Engineering to build integrated insurance solutions.
  • Lead solution strategy for strategic insurance opportunities, RFPs, RFIs, proposals, customer workshops, and transformation engagements.
  • Work closely with sales, consulting, delivery, and technology teams to design customer‑centric, scalable, and commercially viable insurance solutions.
  • Develop solution approaches, estimation models, transition plans, implementation roadmaps, and business value narratives.
  • Participate in customer presentations, executive discussions, solution walkthroughs, and discovery workshops as the Insurance domain and practice expert.
  • Translate customer business problems into outcome‑based insurance technology solutions.
Innovation, IP, Accelerators & Frameworks
  • Drive the creation of reusable insurance frameworks, solution accelerators, reference architectures, playbooks, and industry‑specific assets.
  • Contribute to Aspire’s insurance accelerators and solution themes such as customer experience platforms, underwriting automation frameworks, analytics‑driven solutions, and intelligent insurance operations.
  • Build reusable components that improve speed‑to‑market, delivery efficiency, solution quality, and customer value.
  • Establish governance for IP development, adoption, continuous improvement, and practice‑wide reuse.
  • Explore opportunities to apply AI, automation, cloud, data engineering, and modern integration patterns across the insurance value chain.
Customer-Centric Solutions
  • Engage with strategic insurance customers to understand their business priorities, process challenges, technology landscape, and transformation goals.
  • Build solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance policyholder experience, automate underwriting and claims journeys, and enable data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Support advisory conversations with customers on insurance modernization, digital transformation, automation, AI adoption, and platform modernization.
  • Capture customer feedback and market insights to continuously refine practice offerings and solution collateral.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by combining insurance domain understanding with technology consulting expertise.
Thought Leadership & Market Positioning
  • Build Aspire’s external visibility in the insurance space through thought leadership initiatives.
  • Create and contribute to whitepapers, blogs, industry perspectives, case studies, solution briefs, webinars, podcasts, event content, and analyst‑facing material.
  • Represent Aspire in customer events, insurance forums, webinars, podcasts, partner sessions, and industry discussions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling collaterals, pitch decks, brochures, campaign content, and digital assets.
  • Position Aspire’s capabilities around insurance digital transformation, underwriting automation, claims modernization, customer experience, AI‑led insurance operations, and Guidewire ecosystem services.
Branding, Collaterals & Go-to-Market Enablement
  • Develop high‑quality sales and presales collaterals for Aspire’s Insurance Practice.
  • Create capability decks, solution one‑pagers, battle cards, value proposition documents, proposal content, and industry‑specific messaging.
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, webinars, podcasts, partner branding, and account‑based marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across internal stakeholders, sales teams, delivery teams, and external customer‑facing material.
  • Enable sales teams with strong insurance narratives, solution differentiators, customer success stories, and market‑ready talking points.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with insurance technology platforms, ecosystem partners, cloud providers, data/AI platforms, automation vendors, and core insurance solution providers.
  • Support joint go‑to‑market initiatives, partner‑led campaigns, co‑branded assets, and solution showcases.
  • Collaborate with Guidewire and other insurance ecosystem partners where relevant to create differentiated customer offerings.
  • Drive partner enablement, certifications, solution alignment, and collaborative growth opportunities.
Practice Enablement
  • Mentor and enable solution architects, presales consultants, delivery leaders, and domain SMEs on insurance solutions, market trends, and practice offerings.
  • Build internal knowledge assets, training material, reusable templates, and solutioning frameworks for the Insurance Practice.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, domain‑led consulting, and continuous learning.
  • Define practice standards, reusable methodologies, and governance models to ensure consistent solution quality and delivery excellence.
  • Support internal capability building across insurance domain, P&C, Life, underwriting, claims, billing, policy administration, and insurance transformation themes.

  • Insurance domain leader with strong exposure to both business and technology transformation.
  • Ability to convert insurance market needs into scalable offerings and customer‑ready solutions.
  • Strong customer‑facing personality with excellent presentation and consultative communication skills.
  • Experience in building practice‑level collateral, reusable assets, solution packs, and thought leadership content.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, sales teams, delivery leaders, technology partners, and customer executives.
