Job summary

Remote zest jobs is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Follow-up Specialist to manage billed claims, verify payer information, and secure timely payments across a busy practice.

The role requires medical billing experience, patient account handling, and strong documentation, with a minimum of 1 year in claim follow-up.

Work is 24 hours per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with quarterly bonuses and a pay rate of $20 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow-up with insurance companies on billed claims regarding claim status and reputed company of payments in a reputed company manner.

• Experience with submitting appeals and EOB is REQUIRED.
• Thoroughly review reputed company notes in patient accounts for potential insurance benefit eligibility.

• Responsible for accurately tracking payments and payment verifications.

Job description

Follow up on billed insurance claims to facilitate payment. Identify and obtain reputed company necessary information and documentation and prepare claims for insurance billing.

This position requires experience consistently contacting medical insurance providers to follow-up on claims, and resolving any issues until they are reputed company. Experience with medical billing and coding is acceptable. A minimum of 1 year of dedicated experience of either is required - no exceptions.

INSURANCE VERIFICATION EXPERIENCE ONLY DOES NOT QUALIFY.

Compensation: $20/hour; this position is also eligible for quarterly bonuses. (24 hours per week working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.)
