Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced control systems engineer to join the Gurgaon team. The role focuses on DCS package design, COMOS databases, and interface drawings for T3000-based control systems.

You will review P&ID diagrams, prepare instrument data sheets, and support pre-commissioning and FAT activities with cross-functional teams. A 6–10 year background in mechanical, I&C or electrical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in Mechanical, I&C, or Electrical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in DCS and control system engineering.
• Strong communication and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare TCC per contract requirements.
• Review P&ID diagrams.
• Prepare DCS control system specifications and system configuration drawings.
• Prepare DCS database in COMOS (MEL/VEL/Signal List).
• Develop control logics and HMIs for Siemens T3000.
• Create cabinet arrangement drawings and complete BOM.
• Produce LAN overview for DCS.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning and FAT activities.
• Prepare instrument lists and instrument data sheets.
• Draft instrument hook-up drawings and cabling lists.
• Evaluate vendor documents and coordinate with site engineers and vendors.

• Preparation of TCC as per contract requirements.
• Review of P & I Diagrams.
• Preparation of DCS Control system specification and System configuration drawing.
• Preparation of DCS database (MEL/VEL/Signal List) in COMOS.
• Preparation of Control logics (OLCS and CLCS) and HMIs in Siemens T3000 system.
• Preparation of Cabinet Arrangement drawings along with complete BOM.
• Preparation of LAN overview for DCS.
• Responsible for Pre-commissioning and FAT activities of SIEMENS T3000 system.
• Preparation of Instrument List.
• Preparation of instrument Data Sheets for Pressure, Temperature, Level and Flow Instruments etc. as per applicable codes and standards.
• Preparation of Instrument Hook-Up drawings with complete BOM, Instrument Rack / Heated Enclosure and Stanchion drawings and Junction Box drawings etc.
• Preparation of Cable Specification, Interconnection Diagrams and Cable List.
• Preparing techno-commercial comparatives & finalization of vendor for ordering of DCS package and Instrument packages.
• Review of vendor documents for BOP packages (Boiler, Air compressor, Chemical dosing systems, Sampling systems, Sump pumps, CEMS, Condensate polishing plant, Control valves and Pumps etc.).
• Co-ordinating with Site engineers and response to all site RFIs (Request for information)
• Graduate or Postgraduate in Mechanical/I&C/Electrical Engineering.
• 6-10 Years of experience
• Possess good communication, interpersonal skills and willing to work in inter disciplinary teams.
