Job summary

Kyndryl in India is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead technical solutions for enterprise clients. You will translate business needs into scalable infrastructure designs, oversee implementation, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

You will work across data center technologies, cloud platforms, and SME teams, shaping architectures with rigorous engineering standards while fostering collaboration and client success.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Data Center systems, storage, networking, and security.
• Understanding of Systems and Solutions Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Data Center technologies, Cloud software, and interoperability.
• Preferred: MS Project or other Project Management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural expertise from initial consultation through implementation.
• Design scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with client requirements and available technology.
• Lead the technical implementation ensuring end-to-end delivery.
• Work across major cloud platforms and collaborate with SMEs when specialized expertise is needed.

The Role

Your Role Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

What you will do

Provide technical leadership and architectural expertise, guiding infrastructure solutions from initial consultation through implementation. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), engaging with clients to understand business needs, technical requirements, and expectations. Design scalable and effective infrastructure solutions that align with client requirements and available technology capabilities. Lead the technical implementation of solutions, ensuring the proposed architecture is successfully delivered end to end. Work across major cloud platforms and collaborate with other SMEs when specialized technical expertise is required. Continuously build technical expertise through complex problem‑solving, learning opportunities, and certifications, while delivering high‑quality solutions that create value for clients.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Solid understanding of Data Center mainly Systems, Storage, Networking & Security, Application & Databases
• Understanding of Systems and Solutions Architecture
• Hands‑on experience & learning with Data Center technologies, Cloud Software, and interoperability

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• MS Project or other Project Management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
