Job summary

ISA is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise hybrid infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud (AWS/Azure/OCI). The role emphasizes Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, automation with Ansible and Terraform, and strong focus on availability, security, and incident response.

You will manage monitoring platforms, perform automation tasks, and ensure compliance with ISA policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• 1 year of public cloud administration experience (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
• Experience managing and supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.

Job description

Designs, implements, manages and supports enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and OCI), covering Windows Server administration, Active Directory services, VMware virtualization, monitoring platforms, and infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform. Ensures high availability, security, performance and operational excellence of critical infrastructure services in collaboration with internal and external teams, in line with prescribed IT measures and ISA’s adopted policies and procedures.

Key Result Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure

• Administers and supports Cloud Infrastructure environments.
• Deploys, configures and maintains networking, compute, storage and security services.
• Manages cloud resource provisioning, performance optimization and cost management.
• Implements cloud governance, backup and disaster recovery.
• Supports cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Windows Infrastructure

• Installs, configures, maintains and troubleshoots Windows Server environments.
• Manages Windows Server upgrades, patching and lifecycle management.
• Performs system performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Supports highly available enterprise infrastructure platforms.

Active Directory, DNS & Core Infrastructure Services

• Manages user provisioning, authentication and access controls.
• Supports DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services and Federation Services.
• Troubleshoots identity and authentication-related issues.
• Manages name resolution, DNS zones, forwarders and replication.
• Supports DHCP and related network services.
• Ensures availability and reliability of core infrastructure services.

Infrastructure Automation

• Develops and maintains automation solutions using Ansible.
• Creates Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform.
• Automates provisioning, configuration management, patching and compliance tasks.
• Maintains code repositories and automation documentation.
• Implements CI/CD practices for infrastructure deployments.

Monitoring & Operations

• Manages enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Configures monitoring, alerting, dashboards and reporting.
• Analyzes infrastructure health and performance metrics.
• Supports proactive incident detection and resolution.
• Participates in on-call support and major incident management.
• Prepares technical documentation, SOPs and operational runbooks.

Security & Compliance

• Implements security standards and hardening guidelines.
• Manages vulnerability remediation activities.
• Supports audit, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures adherence to organizational security policies.

General

• Builds effective relationships with internal and external parties to ensure smooth operations, compliance with policies, and timely and right execution of SLAs and business plans.
• Delivers clear, concise and timely communication to ISA clients to provide them with the best customer experience possible.
• Performs any other additional duties as directed by the line manager.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• 1 year of public cloud administration experience (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
• Experience managing and supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.

Preferred Certifications

• Any cloud certification.
• Microsoft certification.
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate.

Work Experience

• Fluent in English Language.
• 3+ years in an enterprise-level IT environment with 24x7 critical operations, implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining complex hybrid infrastructure.

Required Technical Skills

• Infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS & DHCP, VMware.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Cloud networking, compute and storage services, cloud security concepts, disaster recovery.
• Automation: Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with one or more of Zabbix, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Operating Systems: Windows Server; basic Linux administration.
