Job summary

SCRUT Automation, a security and compliance platform, is hiring an InfoSec Delivery Consultant. This remote role focuses on building and maintaining a corporate-wide information security program to protect information assets.

You will propose improvements to client security policies, assess cloud and on-premises setups, and deliver training. Your responsibilities include drafting policies, conducting ISO 27001 audits, and guiding cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (CS/IT) or MCA/Business admin with technology focus.
• 2–5 years in risk management, information security and IT roles.
• Mandatory security certs such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer, CISA or CISSP.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, ISO 27701, NIST frameworks.
• Experience with AWS or Azure security controls.

Responsibilities

• Assess client policies and procedures, suggest improvements.
• Review on-premises/cloud setups and recommend security enhancements.
• Draft information security policies and procedures.
• Deliver training on information security concepts.

Overview of the Job Profile

This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the Policies and Procedures of the Client and suggesting improvement points related to Information Security.
• Understanding the setup of the On-Premise/Cloud Infrastructure of Clients and suggesting improvement points related to Information Security.
• Preparation of Policies and Procedures for Information Security.
• Impart training on Information Security.
• Performing Infosec Internal Audits covering all departments as per ISO 27001 requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/IT) /MCA/ Business administration a technology-related field required.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs.
• Professional security management certification (Like ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer Certification or CISA or CISSP) is mandatory.
• Experience of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, SSAE 18 SOC2, Privacy Framework – ISO27701, and NIST (Optional).
• Experience of security controls of AWS / Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of personal integrity.
• Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams.
