Job summary

Daimler Trucks Innovation Center in Bengaluru seeks an experienced security architect to design and govern secure cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid solutions across the development lifecycle. You will translate security requirements into architecture decisions, review designs, and mentor engineers.

You will lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security governance, work with global teams, and ensure alignment with TOGAF/SABSA/NIST while promoting secure DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification mandatory.
• Strong background in application security, secure development lifecycle and architecture design.
• Hands-on threat modeling experience and understanding of attack surfaces.
• Experience with VAPT execution and remediation handling.
• Experience using SD Elements for security requirements and issue tracking.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, SABSA or NIST architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud security (Azure preferred) and secure DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with global stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• 912 years of experience in information security or architecture-related roles.
• CISSP Certification is a MUST
• Strong background in application security, secure development lifecycle, and architecture design.
• Hands-on experience in threat modeling and understanding of attack surfaces.
• Past experience in VAPT execution and remediation handling (even though not part of the current responsibilities)
• Experience using SD Elements for security requirements and issue tracking is mandatory.
• Proficient in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, or NIST.
• Good knowledge of cloud security (preferably Azure) and secure DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with global stakeholders and technical teams.
