Job summary

Applied Materials India Pvt Ltd is seeking an Information Security professional to strengthen our security controls and governance across on-premises and cloud environments in Chennai. The role emphasizes incident response, vulnerability assessments, and metrics-driven security improvements.

You will contribute to security awareness, ensure compliance, and support audits while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust protective measures.

• Assist in configuring and implementing appropriate application security controls
• Perform reviews to identify and trouble shoot security issues.
• Provide evaluation feedback for new or updates to security solutions.
• Perform solution proof of concept evaluations of on-premise & Cloud services.
• Support internal and external assessments and audits.
• Assists contingent workers in project execution.
• Adheres to compliance processes and procedures
