Job Description

This position is ideal for a highly skilled Senior Informatica Developer who brings deep hands‑on expertise in Informatica BDM/DEI and extensive experience working within Hadoop/HDFS ecosystems. You will take ownership of designing, developing, and optimizing large‑scale data integration solutions while guiding junior developers and ensuring adherence to best practices. Strong technical leadership, problem‑solving ability, and the capability to work across cross‑functional teams on enterprise‑level data projects are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design, development, and optimization of ETL workflows using Informatica BDM/DEI
• Architect scalable and efficient data integration solutions across Hadoop/HDFS ecosystems
• Write and optimize complex Hive SQL queries and manage data stored across ORC, Parquet, Avro, and other Hadoop file formats
• Collaborate with architects, business teams, and technical stakeholders to convert requirements into robust technical solutions
• Provide guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior team members
• Troubleshoot production issues, enhance performance, and ensure high data quality across all stages
• Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and delivery of large‑scale data initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven hands‑on experience with Informatica DEI tools such as BDM or PowerCenter
• Strong understanding of Informatica BDM architecture, components, and best practices
• Deep expertise in Hadoop/HDFS, Hive SQL, and experience working with multiple file system structures
• Experience with Teradata or Cloudera platforms adds value
