Job summary

Advance Career Solutions is seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator with 5–8 years of hands-on experience to maintain Informatica environments across development, QA, UAT, and production. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring security and performance of Informatica PowerCenter, domains, and repositories, with collaboration across IT teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Informatica administration experience.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Administrator with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in administering, configuring, monitoring, and supporting Informatica environments. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, security, and reliability of Informatica platforms and supporting enterprise data integration environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter environments.
• Administer Informatica services, repositories, integration services, and domain environments.
• Monitor Informatica workflows, sessions, jobs, and system health.
• Troubleshoot Informatica job failures, performance issues, and infrastructure-related problems.
• Manage Informatica users, roles, permissions, repositories, and security configurations.
• Perform environment configuration and support across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Monitor system resources and perform performance tuning where required.
• Manage Informatica deployments and migration of workflows, mappings, sessions, and repositories across environments.
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities for Informatica environments.
• Apply Informatica patches, upgrades, hotfixes, and security updates.
• Work with infrastructure, database, application, and ETL teams to resolve production issues.
• Monitor logs and proactively identify potential failures or performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain technical documentation for configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change-management activities.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Informatica Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter Administration.
• Experience with Informatica Domain, Repository Service, Integration Service, and Node management.
• Knowledge of Informatica installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting Informatica workflows and services.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Good understanding of Oracle / SQL Server / other relational databases.
• Experience with Informatica deployment and migration activities.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery processes.
• Understanding of performance monitoring and tuning.
• Good knowledge of user and security administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Informatica IDMC / IICS administration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Informatica command-line utilities.
• Knowledge of scripting such as Shell/Unix scripting.
