Job summary

ThoughtWorks Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep domain expertise in Supply Chain & Logistics to engage with senior business and technology leaders and guide solution design for large-scale initiatives. You will articulate benefits, shape roadmaps, and mentor teams while driving revenue through presales and strategic client engagements.

The role requires extensive experience across omnichannel processes, supplier management, and AI-enabled capabilities within retail space,

Qualifications

• 12–15 years experience in supply chain and logistics management
• Deep understanding of omnichannel order fulfilment, procurement, inventory management and warehousing
• Consulting mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills across diverse stakeholders
• Ability to articulate business benefits and deliver innovative solutions for retail space

Responsibilities

• Driving product strategy and developing roadmaps for large scale initiatives in supply chain & logistics
• Liaising with account and client leadership on account development, stakeholder relationship management and delivery enablement
• Advising client, account and market teams in design and implementation of bespoke software solutions. Shall also articulate business benefits delivered
• Building and shaping thought leadership and perspectives on various industry problems/opportunities in supply chain to guide and advice clients
• Contributing directly to revenue growth by shaping solutions aligned to client’s business problems (presales)
• Building domain capabilities through high-level solution design and development of accelerators and training assets
• Involvement in Thoughtworks community initiatives to mentor team members and share knowledge with the Product community

We are looking for Supply Chain Industry experts with deep and broad domain expertise in the Retail & CPG industry, who can play the role of a Senior level Product Manager. Should have the ability to engage with senior leaders on business & technology challenges and solutioning.

Job Responsibilities

Account level

• Driving product strategy and developing roadmaps for large scale initiatives driving key business outcomes in the space of supply chain & logistics
• Liaising with the account and client leadership teams on aspects of account development, stakeholder relationship management and delivery enablement
• Advising client, account and market teams in design and implementation of bespoke software solutions. Shall also articulate business benefits delivered and strive to ensure expectations are achieved
• Building and shaping thought leadership and perspectives on various industry problems/ opportunities in supply chain to guide and advice clients in their areas of interest

Sales Support And Other Responsibilities

• Contributing directly to revenue growth by actively collaborating/leading presales efforts by shaping solutions that are deeply aligned to client’s business problems
• Building the domain capabilities by way of high-level solution design and development of accelerators for key problems and training assets
• Involvement in Thoughtworks community initiatives to mentor team members, streamline operations, share and grow knowledge with the Product community.

Job Qualifications

Technical Skills

• A minimum of 12-15 years experience in Supply chain and Logistics management space preferably with a mix of Retail, eCommerce, CPG, manufacturing and Technology industry .
• Deep understanding in execution of supply chain processes focusing on omnichannel order fulfillment, procurement, inventory management, warehousing and transportation, supplier management. A mix of experience in Planning and Execution functions is highly valued.
• Ability to keep informed and up-to date with the latest happenings in the Supply chain and logistics space across the globe.
• A consulting mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills in engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders and building credibility as a trusted advisor through proven delivery of innovative solutions for complex problems in the retail space.
• Ability to study and analyze the underlying systems and their dependencies, understand data flow between systems .
• Excellent knowledge of the major COTS systems in supply chain and logistics so as to be able to advise clients on the relative merits, demerits of deploying them vis-a-vis building bespoke solutions in the context of their challenges.
• Ability to advise/engage senior stakeholders, of retail and product organizations building retail products, on building the product vision and roadmap, by striking the right balance between what’s needed now and the future.
• Ability to identify high-value AI use cases in the supply chain and convert them into scalable product roadmaps.
• Ability to evaluate build vs buy for AI-enabled supply chain capabilities.
• Ability to work with data, engineering, and business teams to operationalize AI responsibly.
