Job summary

Humanising Design in Hyderabad is seeking an Industrial Product Designer I with 2+ years of experience to join the Hyderabad studio. You will develop concepts, build accurate CAD models, and create realistic renders for production-ready designs, collaborating with engineers and vendors to ensure manufacturability.

You will translate concepts into detailed drawings, maintain project files, and iterate based on feedback while staying within timelines.

Responsibilities

• Independently create accurate 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, Rhino or similar software.
• Develop product concepts through sketches, form exploration and digital visualisation.
• Create realistic product renders in appropriate real-world contexts.
• Translate approved concepts into detailed, functional and manufacturable designs.
• Prepare clear 2D technical drawings, dimensions and basic production documentation.
• Understand fundamental materials, manufacturing processes, assembly methods and mechanisms.
• Make design decisions based on usability, ergonomics, functionality and production feasibility.
• Create and refine physical prototypes to test form, scale, function and interaction.
• Incorporate feedback accurately and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
• Organise and maintain editable CAD files, render files and project documentation.
• Manage assigned tasks independently across multiple project stages and deadlines.
• Communicate progress, questions and potential delays clearly and proactively.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and vendors to refine products for manufacturing.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ownership from initial concept through final delivery.

We're hiring a full-time Industrial Product Designer to join our Hyderabad studio. This role is ideal for designers who are strong in parametric modeling, concept development, and high-quality visualisation, and who enjoy working at speed without compromising on design intent or detail.
