Saint Gobain in India is seeking an Executive Indirect Taxation to support GST compliance, audits, and data-driven decision making from Bhiwadi and Bangalore. The role focuses on timely GST returns, audit readiness, and effective stakeholder communication.

You will file returns, interpret GST rules, and coordinate with tax authorities while preparing MIS reports using Excel and ERP data in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• 58 years of hands-on experience in indirect taxation, predominantly GST, within the manufacturing sector with large data volumes.
• Proven ability to file GST returns and perform GST audits with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of GST Acts, rules, and recent amendments.
• Excellent liaisoning and networking skills to interact with tax authorities, auditors, and internal departments.
• Proficient in tax compliance software and advanced Excel, PowerPoint for MIS reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication with a proactive work style.

Executive Indirect Taxation (Bhiwadi & Bangalore location)

The Executive Indirect Taxation will support the tax function by ensuring accurate GST compliance, audit readiness, strategic liaison and effective stakeholder communication within a dynamic environment. This role focuses on the timely filing of returns, accurate reconciliation of tax ledgers, data analysis, process Improvement and supporting the teams during statutory audits and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file periodic GST returns ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct GST audit activities, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Interpret and apply GST rules, acts, and notifications to business transactions.
• Timely coordinate with internal stakeholders and external tax authorities for dispute resolution and clarifications.
• Generate management information system (MIS) reports to aid decisionmaking and highlight compliance risks.
• Communicate tax implications and solutions to crossfunctional teams, facilitating problem identification and resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

• 58 years of handson experience in indirect taxation, predominantly GST, within the manufacturing sector who has handle huge volumes of data.
• Proven ability to file GST returns and perform GST audits with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of GST Acts, rules, and recent amendments.
• Excellent liaisoning and networking skills to interact with tax authorities, auditors, and internal departments.
• Proficient in tax compliance software and advanced Excel, Power Point for MIS reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication, have ability to understand and act quickly, hard-working, proactive.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as B.Com, CMA (Inter) or CA (Inter),
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for tax data extraction.
