Thomson Reuters in Bengaluru seeks an Indirect Tax Data Analyst to support tax technology initiatives across VAT, GST, and transaction taxes. This role blends data analytics, automation, and process improvement to enhance reporting, compliance, audit readiness, and operational efficiency.
You will bridge tax, finance, and technology teams, manage tax system changes, map data flows to external government portals, and contribute to tax technology projects and evolving business needs.
The Indirect Tax Data Analyst will support indirect tax technology initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, including VAT, GST, and transaction taxes for sales and purchasing activities. This role will leverage data analytics, automation, and process improvement techniques to enhance tax reporting, compliance, audit readiness, and operational efficiency. Acting as a key bridge between tax, finance, and technology teams, the analyst will manage tax system changes, support data flow mapping to external government portals, identify risks through data analysis, and contribute to tax technology projects and emerging business needs.
