Job summary

Aon plc in Gurgaon is seeking an IND Service Manager Quality to lead quality management across internal and external projects. Hybrid work setup with formal QA methodology, templates, and reporting to improve processes and release quality.

• Project Management qualification desirable e.g. Prince2 or PMP, but not mandatory

Required years of experience –

At least 7-10 years' experience in a Quality Assurance / Testing role or related experience.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

The Quality Assurance Manager is the senior leader responsible for all aspects of quality management on internal and external projects and processes. This includes:

• Entrepreneurial and innovative with the ability to drive forward and execute APAC's and Aon's quality and automation vision.
• Provides effective and independent QA management, managing senior leaders' and other stakeholders' expectations. This will include being responsible for ensuring QA processes and QA team implement APAC's QA methodology effectively and efficiently as well as ensuring the integrity of QA standards and reporting.
• Owner for QA best practices, methodology, models and templates to ensure the best possible outcomes and experience.
• Leader of QA teams for participation in TBS and client design / upgrades through coordinating and evaluating delivery across all technology solutions.
• Responsible for and manage APAC release schedule and testing processes.
• Collaborate and work across multi-disciplinary teams (locally, regionally, globally and externally) to achieve QA best business outcomes within all agreed QA methodology, best practices, protocols, budgets, timelines, etc.
• Driver of productivity efficiency and continuous improvements projects and initiatives across all services and solutions.
• Develop reports and be accountable against measurable metrics, impacts and reportable KPI's.
• Responsible for planning and implementing in-depth QA training and cross training for QA identified resources, to build high performing, engaged teams with a culture of continuous learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a thought leader for the QA team focusing on solving problems and implementing solutions across all teams and across functionality to deliver high quality solutions.
• Responsible for creating and owning the APAC QA best practices, QA methodology, QA templates and all QA models. This will include communicating updates, new QA solutions / processes and changes therein as per the agreed Aon Change Management protocols and processes to relevant stakeholders. It will also involve developing QA reports and metrics to appropriate stakeholders.
• Senior SME and main point of contact for stakeholders for all QA activities.
• Be responsible for ensuring team develop and execute test plans on our platforms and offerings either manually or using automated tools in line with best practice QA methodology and QA templates.
• Working and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams (locally, regionally and globally) to achieve QA best outcomes within agreed QA methodology, QA best practices, QA protocols, QA budgets, timelines, etc, and resolve issues. This will also include providing relevant stakeholders with required reports and KPI's across agreed technology offerings. This includes but is not limited to KPI's Flex, TPA, TRS, Well One, VB, Quality, Resource Availability, Ticket progression, Defects and Themes, Improvement Areas, Roadmaps, New Functionality Requirements, Productivity Efficiency and RPA Strategies, etc.
• Creating and establishing effective working relationships. This will include breaking some barriers within and across teams to ensure a better collaborative working culture and working approach.
• Responsible for planning and implementation of in-depth QA training in line with best practice QA methodology and QA templates to ensure a culture of continuous learning and improvement within APAC - all within the Aon role modelling framework and within all Aon's values and standards.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to engage and build trust.
• Role model all Aon AIM behaviours.
