Job summary

Kinet Railway Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Incoming Quality Control professional in India. The role focuses on verifying incoming products against the Quality Plan, generating inspection reports, and data entry in ERP. The candidate will write NCRs and drive root-cause analysis with corrective actions.

Experience in rolling stock is valued. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential to ensure zero NCR from internal customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics with 5–8+ years in Incoming Quality Control.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Tools and Measurement Tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22163 relevant to the role.
• Experience in rolling stock industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming products as per Quality Plan.
• Create Inspection Report.
• Enter/Manage data of inspection results in ERP.

Job description

Job is responsible for the Incoming Quality Control.

Key Responsibilities & Authority

• Verify incoming products as per agreed Quality Plan
• Create Inspection Report
• Enter / Manage data of inspection result to / with ERP.
• Write Non-Conformance reports and facilitate Root Cause and Corrective Action as needed.
• Communicate with responsible suppliers about the NCR.
• Support root cause analysis and development of countermeasure.
• Confirm closure of issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure Zero NCR from Internal Customer.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics with 8+ years or bachelor's in engineering mechanical/electrical & Electronics with 5+ years’ experience in Incoming Quality Control.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across functions and necessary confidence.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Tools and necessary knowledge on Measurement Tools.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22163 requirements related to role.
• Experience in Rolling stock industry will have additional weightage.
