Job summary

Adani Group seeks an Environmental Engineer to lead regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship for its operations in India. The role focuses on reviewing environmental impact assessments, preparing clearances, and coordinating with authorities to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.

You'll manage EMAP and ongoing environmental reporting, liaise with external parties for monitoring, and contribute to sustainability initiatives around the plant, including green belt planning and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) required.
• 3-5 years experience in MNC/industrial conglomerates.

Responsibilities

• Review Environmental Impact Assessment reports and plan clearances.
• Prepare and submit EMAP, EIA/EC/FC clearances, and land acquisition clearances.
• Ensure quarterly to annual environmental compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with external parties for pollution monitoring.
• Plan green belt development and pollution reduction measures around plant.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and compliance activities.
• Liaise with district and state authorities on environmental applications.

Job description

Purpose/Objective

• 
  Review of Environmental impact assessment Report & Environmental Management Action Plan Preparation of proposals & obtaining environmental & forestry clearances & Land acquisition clearances.
  Preparation and submission of Quarterly, Half yearly & Annual compliances of Environment Clearance, Forest Clearance, CGWA, Hazardous Waste Disposal, Fly Ash etc.
  Accountable of internal and external environment report and status report.
  Coordination with external parties for environment pollution monitoring activities.
  Plan and make sure green belt around plant and plan to reduce pollution of air and noise.
  Plan the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance.
  Coordination with external partied regarding annual maintenance and calibration.
  Liasion with District as well as State administration for environment related applications and clearances.
  

Key Responsibilities of Role

• 
  - Responsible for renewal of CTE/CTO, Non-Forest Land NOC, No NP/WLS/CR NOC from PCCF, Ground Water Abstraction NOC, Gram Panchayat NOC, etc.
  - Implementation of conditions of EC, CTE, CTO, Groundwater NOC, etc.
  .
  - Responsible for Cost Optimization and Other compliances- Ensuring Plantation activities in and around mining lease area as per compliance and development of safety zone.
