Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate in Data, Analytics & AI to design and deliver data pipelines, models, and governance that transform raw data into actionable insights. You will work on data ingestion, transformation, and integration using Snowflake, Python, SQL, and BI tools.

You will collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to ensure analytics-ready datasets and robust data platforms, aligning with enterprise standards and security policies.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• SCD Type 1 & Type 2 data modeling.
• ETL/ELT development and data migration.
• Knowledge of real-time data ingestion and CDC is a plus.
• DBT and Airflow orchestration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and cloud services.
• Build and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, file formats, streams, tasks, and stored procedures.
• Implement data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, COPY INTO, CDC, Streams, and Tasks.
• Develop transformation logic using SQL, DBT, and Python.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and BI teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and cloud services.
• Build and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, file formats, streams, tasks, and stored procedures.
• Implement data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, COPY INTO, CDC, Streams, and Tasks.
• Develop transformation logic using SQL, DBT, and Python.
• Perform data migration from legacy platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) to Snowflake.
• Design and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
• Implement security controls including RBAC, row-level security, masking policies, and governance standards.
• Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance, query execution, clustering, and cost utilization.
• Support reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Perform source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Analysts, and BI teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets.

Mandatory skill sets: Advanced SQL Data Warehousing Concepts SCD Type 1 & Type 2 Data Modeling ETL/ELT Development Data Migration

Preferred skill sets: Knowledge of real-time data ingestion and CDC. Experience with DBT and Airflow orchestration.
