Hands-on Java Full Stack Engineer to build and modernize enterprise microservices with React or Angular frontends on Azure. You will contribute to Java 17/21 modernization, Kafka-based event-driven systems and vulnerability remediation across mission-critical platforms.
Build Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
Contribute to microservice re-design and Java 17/21 migration.
Develop frontends in React or Angular, integrated with backend APIs.
Implement event-driven flows with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, DLQs).
Design REST APIs with OpenAPI documentation.
Containerize with Docker and deploy on AKS or Azure App Service.
Drive vulnerability remediation and secure coding (OWASP Top 10).
Build CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / Jenkins.
Write JUnit, Mockito, and integration tests; frontend tests with Jest/Cypress.
4–7 years software engineering experience with strong Java focus.
Strong Java 11+ with knowledge of Java 17/21.
Hands-on Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
Production microservices experience.
Kafka for event-driven systems.
React or Angular frontend skills.
Azure deployment experience and Docker proficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
gRPC for service communication.
Neo4J or graph databases.
AWS as secondary cloud.
Kubernetes, Helm, service mesh.
DevSecOps, regulated industries.
Redis, Elasticsearch, API gateways.
Daily use of GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent.
Strong prompt engineering for code, refactoring, and tests.
Ability to review AI-generated code for correctness and security.
Use of AI for dependency upgrades, CVE analysis, Java 17/21 migration.
