Job summary

PwC is hiring a Senior Associate in the Advisory line, focusing on data and analytics engineering. You will design and develop robust data solutions, automate data processes, and deliver high-performance APIs using Flask and Django. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement distributed microservices, and mentor juniors.

Minimum 2–7 years of experience, Bachelor's or Master’s in CS/Engineering. Generative AI skills are a plus; strong Python proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python frameworks Django/Flask and testing (pytest).
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration for Python projects.
• Experience integrating with Cosmos DB and Kafka for backend operations.
• Generative AI knowledge or experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Flask, Django deliver high-performance APIs.
• Write reusable efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Architect and implement distributed, scalable microservices leveraging Temporal workflows for orchestrating complex processes.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Debug and resolve technical issues and production incidents
• Follow agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications are a plus
