Job summary

PwC South Africa is seeking a Senior Associate focused on Data, Analytics & AI to help organisations leverage smarter data analytics. You will work on AI/ML model development, deployment, and insights generation, using Python, Gen AI, and leading ML frameworks within an advisory context.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data pipelines, preprocessing, and feature engineering, leveraging AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as AI/ML engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with model development and deployment processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
• Knowledge on Gen AI, NLP, and ML Ops concepts preferred (Kubeflow, MLFlow, Nextflow).
• Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA / MCA.

Responsibilities
