Job summary

PwC is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to join its advisory practice in Bengaluru. The role requires strong Java, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, API, and cloud-native development experience, with proficiency in Spring, microservices, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• Must have 6-12 years of industry experience in related technologies.
• Strong Computer Science foundation (Strong object-oriented concept in Java script).
• Strong Computer Science foundation (data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems).
• Strong proficiency in Java programming including Java 11 and above.
• Strong development expertise in Angular14+.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of APIs is a must
• Strong Proficiency in Spring Framework
• Strong Proficiency in Micro Service Architecture
• Design and build scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Practice of modern software engineering including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of moving code from Dev/ Test to Staging and Production. Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, regression testing).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Expertise in database management with RDBMS and MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Must have excellent client communication skills
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Must have experience in AI-Assisted development
• Mandatory skill sets: Proficiency in working with Linux or macOS environments.
